Your support affects the lives of thousands at the Jersey Shore

We provide food and hope for needy children, elderly, disabled, working poor and families in crisis. Each year, over 127,000 people receive food through the network of agencies we serve.

The Kids Café and the Backpack Programs provide food for low income children, breaking the cycle of hunger and poverty.

The FoodBank's culinary training program provides people with the skills to find better-paid jobs and become self-sufficient.

With the help of roughly 1000 volunteers each year, the FoodBank is a community effort.

Students Change Hunger – Register Today for a 100-pound Bonus!

Students Change Hunger 2013 is here! The New Jersey Federation of Food Banks has been working diligently to make Students Change Hunger 2013 more impactful than ever. With 1.2 million New Jersey residents suffering from food insecurity and thousands of neighbors displaced from SuperStorm Sandy, our mission to alleviate hunger and build food security in Monmouth and Ocean Counties is not yet complete!

Schools that register before June 15, 2013 will receive a 100 pound bonus!

Food and monetary donations may be dropped off between: Monday, September 16, 2013 and Friday, November 22, 2013.
