Collection and Delivery of Food

 

We encourage you to bring your food donations directly to the FoodBank since transportation is a significant cost for us.

 

The easiest way would be to make weekly trips to the FoodBank in a SUV or small school van.  The FoodBank will accept Hunger Challenge deliveries on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am until 4:00pm.  The food will be weighed each time you deliver, and a receipt will be issued to you so that an accurate tally of total pounds delivered by your school/grade can be kept. 

 

Food may be delivered until 4:00pm on Monday, November 12.  Food delivered after that time will not be included in the final tally. 

 

Use your own collection boxes, bags or bins for the Holiday Hunger Challenge.  Containers should be sturdy and not too large for easier lifting.  Tape bottoms of cardboard boxes together securely before use. Label all collection boxes with school, grade and item.
