SCHOOL CATEGORIES
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS GRADES K – 5
INTERMEDIATE SCHOOLS GRADES 6 – 8
HIGH SCHOOLS
GRADES 9 - 12
To ensure
fairness, we have categorized all school grades. For example, many
intermediate schools have grades of 6, 7, and 8; others have 5,6,7,8 grades
and a few have 7th and 8th grades. It wouldn’t be fair to those schools with
less or more grades for poundage purposes so we have established
grade/school categories specifically for this event.
