Corporate Food Donations

Food producers, wholesalers and retailers can make large-quantity contributions of food and non-grocery products to the FoodBank.

Cases of surplus inventory or difficult to sell items can be transported to the FoodBank on pallets or full truckload quantities. Our staff can also pick up these donations with our fleet of refrigerated trucks at your convenience.

Most needed are:

Food items: Meat / Protein tops our needs list.

We never have enough protein. Peanut butter and nearly any form of canned, frozen or fresh meat, poultry or fish, tuna, as well as cheese and dairy products will always be high on our needs list.

Also, ready meals, like beef stews, macaroni & cheese, as well as cereals and canned or  fruits and vegetables. Paper supplies, including diapers, toiletries & bathroom tissue

Businesses and corporations can save storage costs and dumping fees for unwanted items, while receiving significant tax savings for their donations.  Deductions are usually equal to the cost plus one-half the unrealized profit.  Corporate food donors are protected from liability by the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act.

For more information on donating food from your business, call Ben at 732-918-2600 Ext. 247.
