Donations

Food producers, wholesalers and retailers can make
large-quantity contributions of food and non-grocery products to the
FoodBank.
Cases of surplus inventory or difficult to sell items
can be transported to the FoodBank on pallets or full truckload quantities.
Our staff can also pick up these donations with our fleet of refrigerated
trucks at your convenience.

We never have enough protein. Peanut butter and
nearly any form of canned, frozen or fresh
meat, poultry or fish, tuna, as well
as cheese and dairy products
will always be high on our needs list.
Also,
ready meals, like beef stews, macaroni &
cheese, as well as cereals and
canned or fruits and vegetables.
Paper supplies,
including diapers, toiletries
&
bathroom tissue
Businesses and corporations
can save storage costs and dumping fees for unwanted items, while receiving
significant tax savings for their donations. Deductions are usually equal
to the cost plus one-half the unrealized profit. Corporate food donors are
protected from liability by
the
Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act.
