Culinary Training & Catering Programs
In January 2002, our onsite culinary arts teaching kitchen began training adults in need of permanent employment.  The program helps men and women become self-sufficient, by providing the skills they need to obtain better-paid jobs.  Training is provided by a certified executive chef and includes:
bullet12 weeks of on site food preparation and classroom training,
bullet

the opportunity to receive ServSafe and NJ Food Handlers Certification.

Graduates also receive help obtaining and keeping jobs in our shore area hospitality industry.

The program is supported through:

·    grant funding from Wachovia Regional Foundation, Bank of America, JCP&L and the UPS Foundation

Planning a party? A business meeting?  Need an event catered?

Please consider using our Hungry Heart Catering.

The finest quality, purchased food is prepared by our two executive chefs, and all proceeds go to the FoodBank's Culinary Training Program.
